Lately it seems that ribbon is everywhere in scrapbooking, and there are many kinds and colors to choose from. Next to price, variety is probably the number one reason why ribbon is so popular in scrapping.

Ribbon is available in many colors and textures. The four main kinds of ribbon are satin, sheer, woven and grosgrain.

Satin ribbon is commonly available on spools ranging from 1/16th inch wide to -inch wide. Some kinds of satin ribbon have decorative loops that run long the length of either side.
