Bees are helpers: bees help flowers grow. Bees fly from flower to flower. The bees carry pollen, or yellow dust, to other plants. The pollen helps new flowers grow.(Science)

As Busy as a Bee!

Some bees work to make honey. Follow the steps to see what they do.

(1)

A honeybee drinks nectar, or sweet juice, from flowers. Later, it goes back to its hive.

(2)

In the hive, the bee spits out the juice. The other bees drink that juice.

(3)

In time, the bees put the juice into special places in the hive.

(4)

The bees move their wings back and forth over the juice. That makes the juice get thick.
