When Lester's Department Store, a family-run business established in 1948, grew out of its two stores in Greenvale, LI, the owners had the opportunity to lease and renovate the 10,000 s/f former Zany Brainy toy store, to combine boys, girls as well as junior apparel, shoes and accessories under one roof.
