Hastings Manufacturing Names New Independent Board Member.

Hastings Manufacturing Co. announced today it has appointed veteran financial executive Christopher J. Fluke, CPA, to fill a newly created seat on its board of directors.

The Hastings, Mich.-based piston ring manufacturer and engine-products specialist said Fluke, 44, brings more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience to Hastings' board of directors. The addition of Fluke, who will also serve on the board's audit committee, expands the number of members on the board to eight. Hastings has five outside directors on its board.
