According to "Tehran Times", shares of state banks will be offered on the stock market once Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei endorses the Expediency Council (EC)'s initiative to ease the constitutional ban on privatization of major industries, said the deputy minister of economy. Saeed Shirkavand stated that the privatization drive will not be able to move forward as long as the initiative is held up.
