The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) incorporated 309 laws into the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement last year, EFTA Secretary-General William Rossier said on April 11 as he unveiled the organisations 2004 annual report. The EEAs three EFTA States also continued to take part actively in many of the EU programmes, such as the research and education.
