PORTLAND, Ore., April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- There were repeated calls for regional cooperation and a regional solution to the complex problem of restoring salmon in the Columbia River Basin during today's Salmon Strategy Progress Review, according to the Northwest Power Planning Council. The council convened the meeting to accelerate implementation of the Council's Strategy for Salmon, a comprehensive program to improve survival of Columbia River salmon at every stage of the life cycle.
