Onondaga County Republicans declared Randy Wolken their designee for Syracuse mayor Thursday, but whether his slim, 75-vote victory margin holds up may be decided by the district attorney's office.

District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said he will look into information brought to his office by party Chairman Bob Smith that suggests a committee member who voted for Wolken may have committed election fraud last fall by being registered and voting in one district while living in another.
