Does all natural stone need to be sealed? This is a question that not even the experts agree on. Some say that certain granites are so dense that sealing them is not necessary. Others say that all stone needs to be sealed regardless of its density and porosity. Because we are not all geologists and it is impossible to know all the different types of stones that exist, it has always been my policy to seal everything.
