The community is invited to a special service at 3 p.m. Sunday to dedicate the new 8,000-square-foot wing of the Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31).

A reception follows the service from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The Rev. David Foxgrover predicts it will be the first of many events.
