CU'S LEGALISTIC WIN DOESN'T MAKE IT A WINNER.(News)(Column)

Unquestionably, CU has won an important legal battle - which, also unquestionably, only makes clearer the magnitude of CU's far more important defeat outside the courtroom.

In fact, you don't have to be U.S. District Court judge to see how wrong, and how wrong-headed, CU's legalistic strategy has been from the beginning.

I doubt if this is a precedent - even in ever-litigious America where judges determine when the feeding tube gets pulled - but it's clear winning a lawsuit doesn't always make you a winner.
