Xerographic production of color images is approaching the quality of offset lithography for the first time, according to scientific comparisons conducted by Technology Watch, a newsletter that reports on key technology trends in the graphic arts industry. The editor of the newsletter, Henry Freedman, an RIT alumnus (and Graphic Arts Monthly Technology Editor), compared the quality of the two processes, produced side-by-side on the same sheet, in the latest issue of the newsletter.
