Musharraf lauds Pakaistan Army's engineers and FWO for saving and rehabilitating Sukkur Barrage.

SUKKUR, MARCH 26 - President General Pervez Musharraf has highly appreciated the performance of Pakistan Army's engineers and the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) for saving and rehabilitating the Sukkur Barrage for which they had been assigned "a national task", and remarked that "I am proud of them".

He further said that the army had not only saved Sukkur Barrage but also saved the Sindh province because the agro- conomy of this area was largely dependent on it.
