Mar. 28--Chief technocrats, state enterprise managers and provincial governors must manage their spending in line with the government's strategic plan or face budget cuts, warns Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak.

Dr Somkid, who also is the finance minister, met with 500 top ministers, civil servants and provincial governors on Saturday to discuss the government's core strategic plans.
