Mar. 18--LAS VEGAS -- The Milwaukee School of Engineering is competing for millions of dollars in public and private research money aimed at improving hydraulics in a wide range of machinery, from construction equipment to jet airplanes.
The school is part of a consortium of seven colleges and universities that is seeking $17.5 million in project funding from the National Science Foundation.
The consortium, which includes the universities of Illinois and Minnesota, would use the funds to conduct research backed by the National ...
