Voto en el extranjero: reforma deficiente: Las normas que harán posible el voto de los mexicanos en el exterior no son lo que prometen. ¿Por qué? Resulta que las modificaciones hechas con ese propósito a varios artículos constitucionales tienen graves inconsistencias y, es más, son hasta absurdas.

El dictamen que aprobaron el martes 22 los diputados para hacer realidad, a partir del 2 de julio de 2006, el voto de los mexicanos en el extranjero, adolece al menos de cuatro graves deficiencias: contradicciones en las disposiciones respecto al manejo de los acuerdos con las autoridades de otros países; se pretende la extraterritorialidad en la aplicación de algunos preceptos; ausencia de regulación sobre las formas de fiscalizar las campañas en el exterior, así como adecuaciones inexistentes a la Ley General del Sistema de Medios de Impugnación en Materia Electoral.
