Attempts to get Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) politically and economically back on its feet are being undermined by several persistent conflicts, particularly in the north-east of the country.

DR Congo possesses several sectors with the potential to provide valuable income streams but investors remain cautious about committing themselves while the fighting goes on.
