Wisconsin corporations are "eating their own young" by not contributing more tax dollars to fund public education, Madison School District Superintendent Art Rainwater said Wednesday.
Corporations are "contributing to their own demise" as school districts with flat or declining enrollments are forced either to cut programs and services each year because of state revenue limits or ask property owners to increase their tax burden by allowing more spending, Rainwater said.
