Weekend gardeners and DIY enthusiasts have made Saturday lunchtimes busier than weekday rush hours, according to new research.
The late '90s boom in gardening and DIY fed by TV programmes like Changing Rooms and Ground Force has helped produced the shift in traffic patterns.
