Corinthian Colleges accused of fraud.

Feb. 19--Former employees of Corinthian Colleges Inc. have alleged that the company routinely falsified students' financial-aid applications in order to win federal funds, according to an amended lawsuit filed in federal court in Los Angeles.

The allegations by the former employees, who are not identified by name, are described in a complaint filed Thursday by the class-action law firm Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman LLP.

The suit seeks damages on behalf of Corinthian shareholders for what it says were misleading statements ...
