ALGERIA - The Sardinia Pipeline.

A feasibility study for a marine pipeline from Algeria's eastern terminal of Skikda to Sardinia and Corsica has been done by a Milan-based R&D firm, Galsi, formed in November 2002 of Sonatrach (40%), Italy's rapidly expanding gas/power utility Edison (20%), EnelPower (15%), Wintershall of Germany (15%), and the newly set up Italian energy buying consortium Eos Energia (10%).
