Paul Revere and the mystery on Breed's Hill: the Battle of Breed's Hill took place on June 17, 1775. The mystery was solved ten months later.

On a spring day in 1776, a shovel bit into the earth of Breed's Hill, overlooking the town of Boston. The men doing the digging didn't have to work long. They soon struck what they were looking for--bones.

First one, then two skeletons appeared in the shallow grave. One was an unknown American soldier. He had been killed in the first battle of the American Revolution, fought on the hill.
