Beata "Betty" Harz of Elgin

Visitation for Beata "Betty" Harz, 94, will be from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. The Rev. Thomas Niermann will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Born June 22, 1910, the daughter of August and Clara Fasse Lichthardt, she passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005. Betty was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Schaumburg, then joined St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin in 1946. She was an active member of the Mission Society for more ...
