Florida city happily braces for Super Bowl blitz.(Travel)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Tonight we'll know whether the Patriots are Super Bowl-bound, after their AFC Championship Game against the Steelers at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field (kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on FOX-TV).

We already know that all roads to the Feb. 6 Super Bowl lead to this seaside Florida city.

How does a city earn the right to host the Super Bowl? In Jacksonville's case, it beat Miami and Oakland, its two major competitors back in 2000, hands down in what might be called a Miss Congeniality contest.
