Calamar forms joint venture.

Jan. 24--Calamar, a Town of Wheatfield-based developer and contractor, has created another company with a Canadian contractor that will help extend Calamar's reach into Southern Ontario.

Calamar owns half of Draftcon Calamar Corp., which is based in Niagara Falls, Ont. The other half is owned by David Scott, the head of Ontario-based Draftcon. Scott serves as chief executive officer of Draftcon Calamar, under a deal signed at the end of last year.
