Jan. 19--While uncertainty lingers over Scripps Florida's ultimate destination, much-anticipated architectural plans for the contested Mecca Farms site are nearly complete.

Efforts to produce final construction blueprints for the biotech headquarters west of Palm Beach Gardens are occurring even though alternate locations remain in play. The Palm Beach County Commission wants to wait on construction at Mecca Farms because of multiple legal challenges by environmentalists.
