Jan. 18--TICONDEROGA, N.Y. -- Caterer Debbie Mackey knew she had a hit on her hands about the third time she was flooded with questions from guests about her all-purpose sauce.

So, one year and a lot of regulatory procedures later, Mackey has added production and marketing of The Gourmet Gal's Savory Sauce as a side dish to her catering business, also called The Gourmet Gal.
