IN THEIR clear plastic bottles with 'water' written on the front, they may seem like an innocent health drink.
But if you're quenching your thirst with fruit flavoured mineral or spring water, you're likely to be getting lots more sugar, calories and additives than you bargained for.
For once a flavouring is added to water, it is defined as a 'non-alcoholic water based flavoured drink' - in other words, a soft drink.
That means it can also contain sugar, sweeteners, preservatives, tooth-eroding acids and colours.
