According to "Tehran Times", the area covered by colza (Brassica napus) in the northern province of Gilan was extended up by 150%. This year, colza was cultivated in more than 2000 hectares of land in Gilan. Farmers expect to collect about 600 tons of the oil yielding plants by this spring.
