REALITY TV descended on politics this week, with Vote For Me, in which the winner will be chosen by popular vote to stand for the Commons at the forthcoming general election. A more suitable name for this show would have been I'm A Nonentity, Get Me Into There.
If the 60 we saw last night were the best of the bunch, I shudder to think what those not allowed in front of the cameras must have been like. Many of their policies approached the zone of loony tunes including that old standby, legalised brothels, advocated by a buxom middle-aged woman ...
