Just a short note to let you know that Michael Gilchrist's article on the new translation is encouraging, although I am a little concerned that the NRSV (New Revised Standard Version) is still going to be used. For example, will "adelphoi" be translated by the acceptable "brothers"/ "brethren" or by "brothers and sisters"? Will the Psalm 8/Hebrews 2 Christological window be reopened? I do hope that Liturgiam Authenticam is faithfully followed. The NRSV is a "femonic" designer bible...
