A memorial service for Lucile Anna Martens Jurs will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Barrington. Interment will be private. Born Sept. 6, 1909, on North Ave. in Barrington, the daughter of Frank L. and Marie (nee Reese) Martens, she passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005. Lucile was a lifelong resident of Barrington, living in six different houses on North Ave. She graduated from Barrington High School in 1926, as class valedictorian.
