LUKASHENKO PROMISES BELARUS WILL SEE NO REVOLUTIONARY UPHEAVALS

President Alexander Lukashenko has admitted stability and social unity in Belarus, claiming the country will see no revolutions.

"I'd like to assure you that both our country and the generations, which outlived the Soviet Union, have exceeded the limit on wars and revolutions. There will be no pink, orange or banana revolutions, and we will keep our country's peace, quiet and stability," Lukashenko said last Friday in Minsk at St Spirit's Cathedral, where a Christmas mass was held.
