'Azur' draws duo deal.(World News)(S2 International)("Azur et Asmar"s co-production )(Brief Article)

MADRID -- Ele Juarez's Intuition and Stephane Sorlat's S2 Intl. have created a project-by-project production alliance.

Their first film is Euro co-production toon "Azur et Asmar," helmed by Michel Ocelot, director of "Kirikou and the Sorceress."

More projects are expected to be announced early next year.

Now Madrid, Spain-based, French distrib vet Sorlat has wide knowledge of the Gallic market and players. Juarez has held top exec positions in the U.S. and Spain, and has contacts throughout Latin America.
