Byblos designers, Keith Varty and Alan Cleaver, are close to finalizing contract negotiations with Byblos' parent company, Genny Holding S.p.A. Genny Holding has undergone some reorganization and outsiders have questioned whether Varty and Cleaver would remain. However, the designers say they never doubted they would stay with the company. They are no longer designing the Options line, but are working on the Byblos Blu line.
