With legislative and presidential elections now done and dusted, Tunisia can focus on what may well prove the most crucial five year period in its modern history.

In 2010, the Association Agreement with the European Union comes fully into force. This will mean that to all intents and purposes (with a few exceptions), trade--including in invisibles and services--between Tunisia and the EU will be tariff and quota free.
