Real estate - the single largest investment for most individuals and businesses - is not truly protected without title insurance.

One of every four real estate transactions is met with a title problem, making title insurance an outstanding value. Unlike hazard insurance, which protects the physical structures on the property from a casualty such as a fire or flood, title insurance guards ownership of the property itself.
