KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have completed the signing of Walsall striker Gary Birch for the remainder of the season.

Birmingham-based Birch (pictured), who has risen through the ranks at Bescot, has opted to join bottom-of-the-table Harriers despite considerable interest from a string of other clubs.

Harriers paved the way for Birch's arrival by releasing outof-favour Frenchmen Youssou Diop and Freddie Advice-Desruisseaux.
