After Arafat: Palestinian leader's death sparks uncertainty in the Middle East.

GAZA--Yasser Arafat had always looked death in the face and managed to survive. The Palestinian leader lived through a plane crash, assassination attempts by Israeli intelligence agencies, and even a serious stroke. Early in the morning on November 11, Arafat faced death for the last time. After lingering in a coma for days, the 75-year-old died from an unknown illness in a French hospital.
