Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia has said that it does not feel threatened by the latest budget airline to start up in Malaysia, Asmara Airlines.

AirAsia's CEO Tony Fernandes said that the airline is currently competing with both Tiger Air and ValuAir from Singapore and is not afraid of competition. Fernandes said that despite Asmara Airlines having a desk set up at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport the airline has yet to fly and could be ...
