Alt.-Rock Band 'Housefly Army' to Donate 10% of Online CD Sale Profits to Troops in Iraq.

DALLAS -- Alternative rock band, Housefly Army, has set an unprecedented goal of pledging to donate at least 10% of the online profits from their first CD release to a variety of charities sending extra support overseas to all troops in Iraq. Currently the CD is only available on their Web site, www.houseflyarmy.com. It costs $15 for 15 tracks and includes 69 minutes of original music. Domestic shipping is free.

To kickoff this unique proposal, Housefly Army donated more than 100 of the first 1000 copies of their self-titled debut CD to the troops in Iraq last week. ...
