ANAHEIM, Calif. _ For the second time in three years, the Dominican Republic was dancing in the patriotic glow of its newest national holiday.
Native son Vladimir Guerrero was announced as the American League MVP on Tuesday, just as Miguel Tejada had been two years earlier.
