The online encyclopedia Wikipedia.org now has 300,000 articles.

Wikipedia, which was launched three years ago, supports the Wiki concept and all the articles follow the GNU Free Documentation License. The 300,000 English-language articles have a total of about 90 million words. Counting articles in all languages, there are almost 800,000 articles available.
