Fears that Republican challengers at Hamilton County polling places might disrupt Tuesday's election didn't materialize.
"We were worried it could be a very ugly election day, but it wasn't," said Hamilton County Board of Elections Chairman Tim Burke. "Things were quiet."
Republicans sent to precincts people who could have challenged the eligibility of voters, but Burke said he knew of no challenges.
