St. Charles East High School theater students will perform "The Miracle Worker," William Gibson's classic play depicting the true story of 1880s tutor Annie Sullivan teaching the deaf, blind and mute Helen Keller how to communicate, this weekend.

It is the first performance of the school's 2004-05 theater season.

Junior Brittany Stock will play the title role of Sullivan and freshman Elizabeth Boatner will play Keller.
