Southwest Airlines looks to expand at Chicago Midway Airport.(Brief Article)

Southwest Airlines has admitted that it is looking to expand at Chicago's Midway Airport after its main competitor at the airport, ATA Airlines, filed for bankruptcy.
A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines said that it probably would not be interested in acquiring any of ATA's aircraft, which are bigger than those it operates, but would be interested in the bankrupt airline's other Midway assets including its gates.
