Aug. 24--WASHINGTON -- The proposed sale of Omaha-based Farm Credit Services of America to a Dutch bank has been talked about mainly in financial terms.
But whether the sale goes through may come down partly to politics.
The Farm Credit Administration, which can approve or veto the sale, will be closely watched by farm state legislators in Congress, including several with considerable power.
