ESPN joins Time Warner's high-definition team.(Media & Marketing)(Entertainment and Sports Programming Network)(Time Warner Cable)(Brief Article)

San Diego sports fans now can watch their favorite teams in high definition through Time Warner Cable's High Definition ViPpackage, which is now offering ESPN as part of its programming.
Along with ESPN, subscribers can receive movies and ESPN original programming as part of the package, which was launched Sept. 11.
"The demand has been tremendous for ESPN HD," said Ernie Villicana, the vice president of marketing and programming for Time Warner's Cable San Diego division. "The response has been quite phenomenal."
