Thirty-nine Hastings Regional Center workers will lose jobs in Nebraska.

2004 OCT 26 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- As part of Nebraska's mental health reform initiative, 39 workers at the Hastings Regional Center will lose their jobs as of October 26.

The state Health and Human Services System originally had estimated that 60 jobs would be lost, but the number was lowered due to retirements or people leaving their current jobs, said health system spokeswoman Jeanne Atkinson.
