She describes her life as "boring," but thanks to her "very vivid imagination," a 38-year-old mother of three has been able to "live out a lot of fantasies" as she pens best-selling erotica under the pseudonym Zane.

Since 2000, eight of her sexually charged novels have been published in four years, selling nearly 3 million copies. And while the average book has a shelf life of a year or less, Zane's erotic tales continue to sell.
